The Brand Intelligence Engine

Clarify your brand. Codify your Brain. Hire the team. All in one go.

Author the source every output executes from. Bring in the AI team that runs the work.

You've already done the work that earned the brand. The clients, the body of work, the methodology, the voice people recognize. What you haven't yet built is the source document that pulls all of that out of your head, plus the team that produces from it without you re-briefing them every Monday.

The Brand Intelligence Engine is three things shipped together. You clarify the brand: identity, through-line, what your whole body of work is actually about. You codify your Brand Brain: the authored source every output reads from. You bring in your AI team: copywriter, content strategist, social operator, email sequencer, sales consigliere, offer architect, strategic advisor. Every brand function staffed. Every output coherent because every output reads from one source.

There are two kinds of people who land on this page. The first one has been "going to set up the AI side of the business" for the better part of a year and is still in the loop of trying prompt packs and rewriting AI output. The second one is done trying to figure it out alone, and ready to build the foundation the tools were always supposed to run on. If you are reading this, my guess is you are the second.

The loop you've probably been stuck in for a while.

It's Monday morning. You open Claude and ask it to write a sales page for the offer you're launching in three weeks.

What comes back is technically correct and reads like someone else wrote it. You spend the next forty minutes rewriting it line by line until it sort of sounds like you. By the time it's usable, you could have just written the original draft yourself.

Same shape on the email sequence, the content calendar, the launch plan you keep telling yourself you'll finish this week.

You've already tried the obvious moves. The ChatGPT Pro account, the Claude Pro upgrade, the prompt pack from the Twitter guy, the copywriter you paid $3,500 for a sales page that didn't sound like you and never shipped, the brand strategist who handed you a deck that didn't change anything operationally, the AI course that's still sitting half-watched in your library.

None of it added up to anything bigger. The strategist gave you a deck that didn't talk to the copywriter's draft that didn't talk to the course's concepts that didn't talk to the AI you opened this morning.

Every Monday, you tell yourself this is the week you finally load the engine. The next Monday looks the same.

The part you don't usually say out loud is that you've started to wonder if the AI tools just don't work for what you actually do.

The fear underneath all those scattered pieces is that your voice is being slowly flattened by the very tools you bought to amplify it, while coaches five years younger have already lapped you with cleaner stacks.

You can't have acceleration without the foundation. Without the brain underneath the tool.

When the Brain is loaded.

Monday morning. You open Claude in your workspace. The Brand Brain is already loaded. It autoloaded when the session started, because it lives in the CLAUDE.md of your workspace.

You drop in the topic for the sales page you're launching. What comes back reads in your voice. It uses the specific words you use, takes the frame you'd take, lands the turns of phrase that are recognizably yours. You edit lightly. By lunch, the page is on the staging URL.

Same morning, you forward the messaging document to the designer. Within five days, you get mood boards back that read like the brand you've been trying to describe for years.

The email sequence for the launch writes from the same foundation, the content angles for the next quarter pull from it, and the framework you've been trying to name finally has a name and a place in the operation.

The brand stops living in your head as a vibe and starts living in your workspace as a real working operation.

The piece nothing else was carrying.

The reason your AI sounds generic isn't that AI is generic. The AI is reading from nothing.

The reason every piece you've paid for (strategist, copywriter, course, AI subscription) didn't add up is that none of them shared a foundation. Each one produced something that lived on its own.

The Brand Intelligence Engine flips the order. The Brand Brain loads first. It becomes the master identity document your AI, your designer, your VA, your content engine, your sales copy, and your strategic decisions all read from coherently.

Once that foundation is in your workspace, every piece of work starts building on the last one. Content reads from the same source as the sales page that reads from the same source as the launch sequence that reads from the same source as the offer ladder.

Coherence is the mechanism. Foundation first, then everything else gets to run on top of it.

Most coaches, consultants, speakers, and authors aren't clear on the actual identity they're putting into the world.

You've got the work. The clients. The outcomes. The language people quote back to you. What you haven't done yet is name the through-line: the one thing your whole body of work is actually about. And then pull the rest of your identity into a structure your team can read from.

The Brain is only as good as what gets authored into it. Before the team can produce in your voice, you need a source that's actually yours. That's a different kind of work than prompting.

Identity Alchemy is the process I walk you through. Three phases on this surface: Deconstruct what your brand has been carrying. Curate what stays. Become the version your work has been pointing at the whole time. The skill asks the questions; you do the answering; the output is a structured identity document the rest of the build runs on.

Magnetic Through-Line is the distillation that follows. One word or two. The thing your whole body of work is about. Mine is Coherence. Yours is whatever surfaces when the work gets named.

Neither of these is an AI-generated output. They're the work I walk you through, structured into skills you run on your own time, in your own workspace.

That's the sequence. Identity Alchemy produces the through-line. The through-line becomes the spine of the Brain. The Brain becomes what the team reads from.

The team you've been doing without. Finally on the bench.

Most solo coaches, consultants, and experts can't afford a brand strategist plus a copywriter plus a content team plus a social manager plus a sales consigliere on staff. That team costs $30,000 to $70,000 a year, plus retainers. So the work falls to you. Every Monday.

AI is the leverage that finally changes that math. Hiring this team in the open market vs. hiring it through BIE:

$300–$1,000 / hour
Open-market total for this team$30,000–$70,000+ one-time
plus $8,000–$15,000+ / month retainer

The Brand Intelligence Engine builds the capability behind every role on that list. What the specialists actually produced (sales pages, email sequences, content, brand voice work, framework write-ups, funnel design, strategic advisory) gets produced by your team instead. The team reads from the Brain you authored. The work compounds because every output is sourced from one place.

The team you've been doing without. Hired in one buy. Lifetime hire. The math is what finally makes it possible to ship the operation you've been running alone.

$997 clarifies the brand. Codifies the Brain. Hires the team. Lifetime.

The BIE doesn't replace photographers, designers, coaches, or any human whose work depends on craft and embodied judgment. AI can't do those jobs. If you've got contractors and a VA already, the team briefs them from the Brain so you stop briefing from scratch. If you're solo, the team is your operation. Either way, the Brain is the standing brief.

→ Run the Engine · $997 One-time. Lifetime hire. 30-day refund mechanic.

Load. Build. Operate.

Setting up the plugin takes one afternoon. The foundation comes together over time as you work through it. Once it's in, it keeps running.

01

Load the plugin.

Drag the BIE plugin into Claude Cowork. One-time. Five minutes. The full skill library becomes available in your workspace.

02

Build the foundation.

Run Layer 01 plus Layer 02 over two to four weeks. Identity Blueprint and Magnetic Through-Line set the foundation, then Brand Brain Architect, Voice Creator, Framework Builder, Story Bank, Messaging, Visual, Offers, and Email Sequences all build on top of it to produce the working brand engine everything that follows runs from.

03

Operate the engine.

Every Claude session in your workspace auto-reads your loaded brand. New content sounds like you. New copy uses your messaging. New strategy runs against your real engine. Layer 03 (Signal) and Layer 04 (Revenue Architecture) produce output continuously.

The thing that makes this different is that your brand stays with you across every session. Cowork's CLAUDE.md auto-reads your saved brand at the start of every conversation. You stop trying to write better prompts. You set it up once and let the workspace carry your brand for you. Generic AI fails because it has nothing to read from. The BIE gives it something to read from.

Clarity comes first.

Before the Brain. Before the team. Before any output ships. You start with the two skills that produce clarity on who you are and what your work is actually about.

Open Identity Blueprint. It runs the opening interview: who you are, what you do, who you do it for, what you've been carrying, what your work is pointing at. By the time the session closes, you have a structured identity document the rest of the build runs on.

Open Magnetic Through-Line. It reads what Identity Blueprint produced, surfaces the one or two words your whole body of work is actually about, and locks the through-line you'll be known for. Mine is Coherence. Yours is whatever surfaces when the work gets named.

Once those two are in your workspace, the rest of the build has something to read from. Brand Brain Architect codifies what you authored. The team executes from the Brain. Everything downstream runs on the clarity you produced in the first hour.

Four layers. One coherent engine.

A skill is a step-by-step process inside Claude. It runs as a guided conversation, produces a document you keep, and reads from every other skill in the stack. The Brand Intelligence Engine organizes the full skill library into four layers. Each layer builds on the previous. Each skill does one specific job. You run them one at a time, on your own pace. Together they form a brand and business operation that runs on your specific intelligence.

You answer questions, push back on outputs, iterate the drafts into final versions. Plan for at least one revision pass on every output. The buyers who get the most out of the build are the ones who push hardest on iteration.

Open any layer below to see the skills inside.

Layer 01 Identity Foundation Foundation
Open →Close ↑

The raw material. Who you are, what you carry, what you believe, who you serve. Three skills produce three foundational documents that every other layer reads from.

Layer 01 · Identity Synthesis

Identity Blueprint

The synthesis guide. Conducts a structured interview that produces your foundational identity document covering essence, Secret Sauce (the one-of-one fuel only you carry), emotional frequency, gifts, identity history, enduring values, expression direction, visual cues, archetypes, adjectives, and daily practices. Captures who you are at the deepest layer. Output feeds Magnetic Through-Line and Brand Brain Codes 01 (Philosophy) + 04 (Story). Without this document, every other skill works from generic patterns instead of your actual identity.

Layer 01 · Brand Distillation

Magnetic Through-Line

The distillation skill. Produces your one-word or two-word top-line brand message, the thing you become known for. Reads your Identity Blueprint, surfaces candidate words, iterates with you, locks the through-line plus working alternates. Hard-cap of two iterations protects against forced-fit; if a word doesn't click, the skill exits gracefully with a working draft you refine in market. Becomes the spine of every piece of brand communication you make after this.

Layer 02 Brand Authority Authority
Open →Close ↑

Where your identity becomes written down into structured documents AI and humans can read: a Brand Brain document, voice profiles, named frameworks, story bank, messaging document, visual direction, offer structure, email sequences.

Layer 02 · Central Intelligence Document

Brand Brain Architect

The flagship skill. Builds your master Brand Brain document organized into 11 Brand Codes capturing every dimension of who you are: Master Knowledge Map, Core Philosophy, Voice and Style Guide, Frameworks, Core Process, Brand Story, Case Studies, Content Pillars, Authority Positioning, Proof Bank, Expression and Deployment. Once built, the Brand Brain stays with you across every Claude session: every conversation in your workspace auto-reads it before answering any question. Your brand lives in the room.

Layer 02 · Voice Synthesis

Voice Creator

The voice skill. Runs after the Brand Brain is built. Produces custom Writing Voice and Speaking Voice profiles from your existing samples. One skill, two profiles, because people write differently than they talk. Writing Voice from at least 2,000 words of your writing (5,000+ recommended). Speaking Voice from transcripts of you speaking (9 minutes minimum, podcast transcripts ideal). After this skill, AI doesn't just know what you'd say. It knows how you'd say it. Every content skill that follows reads from these profiles.

Layer 02 · IP Capture

Framework Builder

The IP extraction skill. Turns your intuitive expertise into ownable intellectual property. Extracts your process, structures it, names it, makes it teachable and trademarkable. A named framework is the most valuable asset a personal brand can own. "I help people with their brand" competes on price. "I take people through the Brand Intelligence Engine" competes on outcome. Outputs integrate into Brand Brain Code 02 where every other skill can reference them.

Layer 02 · Story Operations

Story Bank Creator

The story-mining skill. Conducts a five-lens framework (transformation moments, identity shifts, edge experiences, lineage threads, micro-moments) plus a 60-month scroll exercise that walks back through your last five years surfacing stories you'd forgotten. Each story becomes a structured Story Card indexed by theme, lens, and use case. Living library that grows as you log new stories. Every piece of content you make after this pulls the right story for the right moment from this bank.

Layer 02 · Messaging Translation

Messaging Architect

The messaging document skill. Produces the 2–3 page messaging document that your sales pages, ads, emails, and content all pull from. Built on April Dunford's positioning-feeds-messaging model plus Joanna Wiebe's voice-of-customer mining plus Eugene Schwartz's awareness levels. Covers core promise, value proposition, vocabulary swap list, awareness-level hook variants, top-10 objection bank with responses, proof points, story arc skeletons. Sits in the narrow slice between positioning and copywriting.

Layer 02 · Visual Direction

Visual Brand Architect

The visual identity skill. Three modes for three deliverables. Mode 1 Look Map (full visual exploration: 14 archetypes, wardrobe direction, location inspiration, props, mood references). Mode 2 Photoshoot Blueprint (shoot-ready creative brief for handing to a photographer). Mode 3 Brand Identity Brief (what you hand to a brand identity designer hiring out the kit). Codified expression of Nick Onken's 25-year approach to personal brand visual identity. Grounded in Elevated Realism.

Layer 02 · Offer Design

Offers Architect

The offer ladder skill. Designs individual offers and architects complete value ladders. Covers what you sell, how it's structured, how it's priced, and how all your offers work together as a coherent ecosystem. Handles "I don't know what to charge," "should I do 1:1 or group," "what should my first offer be," "how do my offers connect." Output covers offer design, pricing strategy, ladder architecture, and ascension paths. Connects directly to Sales Consigliere and Email Sequence Architect.

Layer 02 · Email Sequence Operations

Email Sequence Architect

The email sequence skill. Designs and writes complete email sequences: welcome, nurture, launch, post-purchase, re-engagement, upsell. Writes ready-to-load email copy for every email in the sequence. Reads from your Voice Profile (so emails sound like you), Messaging Architecture (so they use your locked vocabulary), and Offers (so they connect to your real ladder).

Layer 03 Signal Signal
Open →Close ↑

The broadcast. Layer 02 outputs become content the world sees. Content strategy, blog posts, repurposing, video scripts, and platform-specific operations for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.

Layer 03 · Content Strategy

Content Engine

The content planning skill. Builds 30, 60, or 90-day content calendars from your Brand Pillars, frameworks, and offers. Maps every piece of content to a funnel stage, assigns target keywords, CTAs, and internal links, coordinates blog posts, email topics, and social content angles into one master plan. Output feeds every other Layer 03 skill plus the email sequence skill in Layer 02.

Layer 03 · Long-Form Content

Blog Post Blueprint

The blog writing skill. Generates fully written, publish-ready blog posts optimized for traditional search, AI search, and social platforms while maintaining your authentic voice. Includes strategic keyword targeting, schema markup, social variants, and complete metadata. Output reads from your Voice Profile and Brand Brain so the post sounds like you.

Layer 03 · Content Multiplication

Content Repurposer

The repurposing skill. Takes one piece of long-form content and transforms it into multiple platform-specific formats: Instagram, LinkedIn, email, blog, YouTube, more. Turns one idea into a week of content across platforms. Each output is platform-native (LinkedIn long-form format, IG carousel structure, email teaser, YouTube short script) and reads in your voice. Highest-impact skill for buyers who want to multiply content output without multiplying creation time.

Layer 03 · Audio and Video Scripts

Spoken Scripts

The script-writing skill. Writes audio and video scripts in your natural speaking style using your Speaking Voice Profile. Use for videos, podcasts, voice-overs, presentations, or any content you'll speak aloud. Output is delivery-formatted: marked pauses, natural breath points, conversational rhythm. Reads the way you talk, not the way a writer thinks you should talk. Particularly important for instructional video where verbatim reading matters.

Layer 03 · Instagram Operations

Instagram Operator

The Instagram strategist. Combines content strategy, post optimization, analytics advisory, growth tactics, algorithm expertise, and conversion optimization into one skill. Two modes: your own brand (default) or client advisory. Audits posts, analyzes engagement patterns, optimizes captions, recommends hashtag strategy, identifies high-performing content patterns to replicate. Accepts screenshots, paste-ins, or CSV exports of your analytics.

Layer 03 · LinkedIn Operations

LinkedIn Operator

The LinkedIn strategist. Covers profile optimization (for selling, not job seeking), content strategy, post writing, engagement tactics, authority building, and conversion paths. Two modes: personal brand advisory (default) or client advisory. Audits profile elements, recommends content strategy, writes posts, identifies authority-building moves. Built specifically for personal brands selling services and programs, not for job-seeking profiles.

Layer 03 · YouTube Operations

YouTube Operator

The YouTube strategist. Combines trend research, SEO optimization, growth strategy, retention-optimized scriptwriting, click-through-rate and thumbnail optimization, and short-form repurposing into one skill. Scripts include built-in Clip Zones for extracting Reels, TikToks, and Shorts from every long-form video. Single skill for everything YouTube. Replaces the entire YouTube production team for brands that don't have one.

Layer 04 Revenue Architecture Engine
Open →Close ↑

The engine. Content becomes clients. Lead generation strategy, sales conversations and copy, strategic advisory, conversion optimization, operational diagnostics.

Layer 04 · Operational Diagnostic

Business Foundation Audit

The starting-point checkup. Looks at every part of your personal brand business: revenue, offers, the tools you use, operations, team, time, stack, finances, content. Produces a 9-area report with current state, gaps, and a prioritized fix list. Tool consolidation recommendations. Architecture design suggestions. Run quarterly or when the business feels chaotic. Tells you what to fix first.

Layer 04 · Buyer Psychographic

Customer Avatar Builder

The avatar construction skill. Produces a 1–3 avatar dossier set with named Character Anchors using Adele Revella's 5 Rings of Buying Insight plus Bob Moesta's Switch Interview methodology. Works whether you have customers (mining mode) or not (bootstrap mode). Each avatar has Character Anchors, pain language, success factors, awareness level, consideration window, and top objection. Output feeds Messaging Architect, Brand Brain Code 02, and every sales, email, content, and ad skill that follows.

Layer 04 · Lead Generation Strategy

Lead Path Builder

The lead-gen architecture skill. Diagnoses your business model first, then builds the right mix of outbound, inbound, authority, and partnership lead-gen paths wired to your value ladder. Handles "I need more leads," "how do I get clients," "my funnel isn't working," "I need a lead magnet," "how do I do outreach." Diagnoses the actual issue (often not what the buyer thinks) and produces a strategy specific to their business model and capacity.

Layer 04 · Sales Operations

Sales Consigliere

The sales advisor. Combines sales strategy, conversation frameworks, discovery call structure, objection handling, DM sales, and follow-up sequences into one skill. Handles "how do I sell this," "audit my discovery call," "people aren't converting," "why are people ghosting after the call." Honest about what's broken in the sales process. Reads from your Messaging Architecture so output stays voice-consistent.

Layer 04 · Sales Page Production

Sales Page Builder

The sales page writing skill. Produces publish-ready sales pages in your brand voice using a proven structure: hero, identity agreement, pain agitation, dream state, mechanism reveal, value stack, cost-of-waiting math framed against what you'd otherwise pay specialists, FAQ, CTA. Three modes for cold traffic, warm upgrade, or auditing an existing page. Comes with a built-in quality check, AI-tell scan, and section requirements so the page ships at high quality without rewriting.

Layer 04 · Funnel and Ladder Optimization

Conversion Architect

The big-picture conversion skill. Looks at your sales funnels, offer ladder, upsells, and how all your offers connect to find the biggest conversion fix and the order to fix things in. Five modes: Engine Diagnosis, Offer Ladder Math, Upsell Check, Funnel Tune-Up, Cross-Engine Check. Different from Sales Consigliere: Sales handles per-page conversations and copy; Conversion handles the whole funnel and ladder.

Layer 04 · Strategic Advisory

Founder Consigliere

The strategic advisor. Two modes: Conversational advisory (think through a decision, surface blind spots, plan) and Full Diagnostic Engine (a structured 10-angle assessment that attacks the business from every direction). Not a coach. Not a cheerleader. The advisor that tells you the truth when nobody else will. For founders who don't have access to seasoned strategic advisory.

Bonuses Cross-Session Operations Operations
Open →Close ↑

Tools that keep your work moving across sessions. Ledger Keeper logs decisions, key facts, and open loops; Handoff packs everything into a context transfer so a new session picks up exactly where the last one left off.

Operations · Cross-Session State Management

Ledger Keeper

The memory skill. Logs decisions, key facts, open loops, rejected paths, and any project fact that should stay with you across sessions, to a ledger file. Four modes: LOG, BACKFILL, CREATE, SYNC. Triggers automatically when you mention key facts, decisions with reasoning, open loops, or rejected approaches. Building a personal brand crosses dozens of Claude sessions over months. Without a ledger, every new session starts from zero. With it, your context stays with you.

Operations · Session Context Transfer

Handoff

The transfer skill. Produces a deep, copy-paste-ready context transfer for moving work from one Claude session into another without losing constraints, decisions, files, rejected paths, or voice directives. Use when a thread feels heavy, when quality drops, when you've hit a token limit. The output captures everything that matters in a transferable format. Single trigger word: "handoff."

"It gave me containment, compression, and operational clarity, enough to render what was already in the book as structure, without distorting the signal."

Sabra Burch · Castles in the Skye

The four core layers plus cross-session operations bonuses. Each owns a specific domain. Together they form the brand and business operation that runs on your specific intelligence. The Brand Brain reads from Layer 01. Layer 03 reads from the Brand Brain. Layer 04 reads from all of it. Everything builds on everything else, not a pile of disconnected tools.

The piece most AI products skip.

Most AI products hand you a pile of tools. Almost none of them hand you the foundation the tools are supposed to run on. The Brand Intelligence Engine flips that order. The Brand Brain gets built first. Every other skill reads from it. Your output stops sounding generic the moment the source stops being generic.

A creative director, not an AI marketer.

Nick Onken portrait at his Austin office

Nick Onken · Austin, 2026

I'm Nick Onken. Twenty years as a photographer and creative director, building visual brand language for the people you recognize. Now based in Austin, building tools for other creators to do the same. At smaller scale, with their own brand, on their own time.

I learned the cost of not having this the hard way. When I launched my own course, I paid one person $7,500 just to run the launch strategy, the exact job this engine does now, and I barely made my money back. For about ten years I was the bottleneck on everything my own brand produced, doing the work of a copywriter, a marketer, and a strategist on top of the work I'm actually good at.

This is the tool I would have wanted ten years ago. Back then, building operational depth at this scale meant hiring a team or contracting specialists who never quite spoke the same brand language as the work. You couldn't load an engine that protected your voice, codified your frameworks, and held coherence across years of campaigns. You had to accumulate it slowly, in service of other people's brands, while your own waited. The last eighteen months changed that. The Brand Intelligence Engine is what I built to keep myself in the work I'm actually built for: making things, directing creative, shooting, thinking. BIE handles what I'd hand off. What stays mine: the taste, the eye, the call on what's right.

The Brand Intelligence Engine comes out of that work. Most personal-brand AI products are built by marketers who don't think about visual identity, brand coherence, or how creative direction holds up across years of campaigns. The BIE comes out of two decades of brand work at the highest level. Visual identity, brand coherence, creative direction held across years of campaigns. That discipline is in the work.

BIE was birthed in Wudang, China. Finished in Austin. I was at Wudang training kung fu, the Daoist martial arts the mountain is known for, and during rest breaks between sessions I'd open the laptop. The skills, the architecture, the voice. The bones of the build came together there. The rest got finished out in my Austin office over the months that followed. Two decades of brand pattern-recognition turned into something that runs without me, built mostly on a mountain six thousand miles from my desk.

Laptop open at a Wudang cafe, building the Brand Intelligence Engine

The build. A cafe near the mountain in Wudang. Most of the BIE took shape on this laptop, between training sessions.

The practice. Training kung fu with my Shifu at the Wudang temple. The discipline that shaped how it got built.

Brand authority lives in three places at once: visual coherence, identity captured in writing, consistency held over time. Most AI products handle one of those at best. The BIE handles all three because the person who built it has had to deliver all three on shoots that cost $250K and ran across global campaigns. That discipline is built in.

Both buyers ran the same skills you'd run. Different businesses. Different industries. Different starting material. Same operation. The build adapts to who you are and what you've already built. The set of documents above is what they produced.

The documents most personal brands don't have.

When the build is done, you have a complete brand operation in your workspace. Not a strategy deck. Not a course-completion badge. Real documents your business runs on for years.

  • A Brand Brain document organized into 11 Brand Codes that captures every dimension of who you are
  • A Writing Voice profile that makes AI sound like your written work
  • A Speaking Voice profile that makes AI sound like your spoken work
  • Named frameworks that become your IP
  • A Story Bank with structured stories indexed by theme and lens
  • A messaging document your sales pages and ads pull from
  • A Look Map for visual direction
  • A Photoshoot Blueprint for shoot prep
  • A Brand Identity Brief for designer handoff
  • An offer ladder with pricing and ascension architecture
  • An email sequence library covering welcome, nurture, launch, post-purchase, re-engagement
  • A 90-day content calendar mapped to your offers and Pillars
  • Platform-specific content operations for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • A lead generation strategy specific to your business model
  • Sales pages, discovery call frameworks, objection-handling scripts
  • A strategic advisory engine you can run on any decision
  • Funnel and conversion audit capability
  • A 9-area business foundation diagnostic

Producing all of those documents without the BIE takes either the personal-brand team you can't afford or several years of solo grinding. The build produces the drafts. You polish them into final versions. By the end, your brand has stopped living in your head as a vibe and started living in your workspace as a real working operation.

Honest about effort.

The plugin setup is one afternoon. The foundation build is iterative. Some people knock through it fast. Some take longer. The timeline is not fixed because the work isn't fixed. It depends on what you bring into the upload step and how hard you push the iteration.

Phase 1 · Identity Foundation

Fastest layer. A few hours of focused work.

Run the Layer 01 skills: Identity Blueprint, Magnetic Through-Line, Customer Avatar Builder.

Phase 2 · Brand Authority

The biggest layer. Time depends on what you bring in.

This is the centerpiece of the build. Brand Brain Architect is the deepest skill in the build. Voice profiles, frameworks, story bank, messaging, visual direction, offers, and sequences all layer on top. Some people complete this in under a week with substantial existing material to upload. Others take longer if they're producing raw material as they go. Multiple focused sessions, with breaks between them, is the pattern that works.

Phase 3 · Signal

Ongoing engagement after Phase 2.

Per-output is fast. Most content pieces take under an hour. Layer 03 produces continuously once the foundation is locked.

Phase 4 · Revenue Architecture

Used as the business calls.

Strategic advisory, lead generation, conversion audits run when you need them. Not a sit-down build like Phase 2.

Speed depends on three things. How much existing source material you have to upload (articles, podcast transcripts, prior brand work, course content). How fast you process information and dump it back in. How hard you push back on first-pass outputs. Buyers with rich material plus quick info-dump habits move through the foundation in under a week. Buyers starting fresh take longer. Both end up in the same place.

"I'd say this process had me expend 5–10% of the effort I'd have had to if I did this without AI help. I can see myself spending weeks on this otherwise."

Frequently asked.

Is this a course?

No. A complete brand operation that loads into your Claude Cowork workspace as a single plugin. Four layers of guided AI skills, all reading from the same Brand Brain document. The skills run as guided conversations. You answer questions, push back on outputs, iterate. The documents they produce live in your workspace and reference each other automatically.

Do I need Claude Pro?

Yes. Claude Pro runs $20 a month, separate from this purchase. Cowork (the Claude desktop app) is what hosts the plugin. We're transparent about the full cost going in. The BIE is one-time. Claude Pro is ongoing.

What if I'm not technical?

The Cowork setup is drag-and-drop. The skills run as guided conversations, not code. If you can paste a zip file into a Cowork interface and answer questions in chat, you can run the engine. People running the engine range from analytically rigorous (Daniel) to writers and coaches with no technical background (Sabra, others).

How long until I have a working Brand Brain?

Two to four weeks of focused work for the foundation if you're working through the build actively. Brand Brain Architect alone takes 6–12 hours minimum spread across multiple sessions. Plan for ongoing refinement as you add material (transcripts, client work, content). The Brand Brain is a living document.

Does this replace my coach or strategist?

Sometimes. The BIE handles operational output: copy, content, frameworks, sales pages, email sequences, strategic diagnostics. A coach handles relational accountability and strategic thinking partnership. Different roles. Many BIE buyers keep their coach and stop hiring strategists, copywriters, and content people.

Can I load this and have my team run it?

Yes. The Brand Brain becomes shared workspace context. Team members get aligned outputs because they're all reading from the same loaded brand. This is one of the strongest unlocks for buyers running 1–3 person operations.

What about my existing brand work?

Upload all of it. Step 0 of every skill is "give me everything." Bios, course materials, articles, podcast transcripts, testimonials, journal entries, social posts, prior brand documents, your resume. The skills analyze uploaded material and ground every output in your actual work. More material equals stronger outputs.

What's the difference between this and the $497 Brand Authority tier?

Brand Authority ($497) is the foundation tier. You codify the Brain and bring in the foundation team: voice operator, identity architect, framework codifier, brand strategist. The first members on the bench.

Full BIE ($997) is the same Brain plus the full hire. Copywriter, content strategist, social operators (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), email sequencer, blog architect, sales consigliere, offer architect, lead-path builder, business diagnostician, strategic advisor. Every brand function staffed.

Hiring the equivalent team in the open market is $30,000 to $70,000 one-time plus $8,000 to $15,000 per month retainer. Hiring via BIE: $997. One buy. Lifetime hire. If you already know you want the full team, Full BIE is $500 less than buying Brand Authority and upgrading later. Foundation tier lives at onkensworld.com/brandauthority.

Is the team just a chatbot?

No. Each team member is a specialized AI operator scoped to one brand function. Your copywriter doesn't try to be your social strategist. Your social strategist doesn't try to be your offer designer. They all read from the same Brain so the work stays coherent, and each has its own scope, frame, and quality bar. Hot-take chatbots produce generic output. Scoped operators produce specific output.

Do I have to manage them?

You author the Brain once. The team reads from it forever. The Brain is the standing brief. You step in when scope changes or when you want a specific output. You're not managing a team day-to-day. You're directing on demand.

What if I want to fire one?

The team is a set of operators you direct on demand, not a salaried hire you manage. You use the ones you need. You ignore the ones you don't. Most buyers use 8 to 12 regularly and call up the rest when a specific output is on the table. Nobody runs the full team every week.

Will the AI team replace the humans I work with?

If you've got contractors and a VA already, no. The team briefs them from the Brain so you stop briefing from scratch. They get sharper because they're working from your authored source, not a stale doc. If you're solo and never had a team, the AI team is your operation. It's not replacing anyone. It's the team you've been doing without.

Is this about replacing workers with AI?

No. This is about access. Most solo experts can't afford a brand strategist, copywriter, content team, social manager, and sales consigliere on staff. That team costs $30,000 to $70,000+ a year. AI makes the team affordable for the first time. The people who used to charge for the same work are still working, and most of them are using AI now too because the alternative is being slower than someone who does. The whole market is shifting. This is how a solo operator stays in the game.

Is "codify the Brain" a technical task?

No code. No terminal. No programming. "Codify" is the verb because you're authoring IP, the same way a writer codifies a methodology into a book. You answer interview questions. The Brand Brain Architect operator structures your answers into the document. You proofread. The Brain is yours.

Is there a payment plan?

Not currently. $997 is one-time. Lifetime access. We may add payment plans later; for now the cleanest mechanic is one payment, full stack, 30-day refund window.

What if Claude or Anthropic shuts down or changes the platform?

Your outputs are yours. The Brand Brain document, voice profiles, frameworks, story bank, messaging architecture all live as files you own in your workspace. They're portable to other AI tools as the market evolves. You don't lose your brand operation if the platform underneath changes.

What's the support model?

Email [email protected] for product questions. The skills include the Honesty Protocol and iteration preface; everything is designed for self-service operation. We watch the support channel and respond within 48 hours.

30-day refund. Activity-conditional. Feedback-required.

Run the full four-layer engine honestly and iterate the outputs. If it still doesn't land for you, fill out the post-process feedback questionnaire: what didn't work, where it broke down, what you tried, what you wish had been different. Email it to [email protected]. We refund the full $997 within seven business days.

The skills produce a working draft on the first pass. Typically 60–70% of where the final output needs to be. The other 30–40% comes from you iterating with the AI: pushing back where it misses, adding detail where it's thin, correcting what doesn't fit. The skills are built for that. One-shot first-pass outputs without iteration history don't qualify for a refund. Co-creation is the engine.

This is a collaborative product. The questionnaire is how the next version of the engine gets sharper. Buyers who request a refund without completing the process and submitting the feedback don't qualify. Buyers who completed the work, iterated honestly, and still didn't get there. That's the conversation we want to have.

Layer 03 outputs need to be PRODUCED, not PUBLISHED. We're checking that you ran the engine, not that the market responded. Engagement metrics take 60–90 days to read fairly; the refund window is 30 days; we don't gate on something you can't fairly evaluate inside the window.

If you ran every skill, iterated each output, and submitted the questionnaire, and the engine still didn't land. That's a real conversation worth having. The refund is on the table.

The entrepreneurs who get the most out of this process and engine are the ones who push hardest. Not the ones who research longest.

You can keep researching, or you can run the engine. Clarity, Brain, and team. All three in one buy.
